- bipolar disorder, or
- psychosis, or suicidal thoughts.
Besides, the use of Ritalin 10 mg or other is not approved in anyone younger than six years old. Also, it is not healthy in patients with renal impairment or hepatic impairment. However, caution should follow in them.
For six years older: the initial dose will be 5 mg orally twice daily.
For Adults: initial dosage is 10, 20 to 30 mg daily, or as prescribed. And, the maximum total daily dose is 60 mg.
